So it's finally finals week, go team! Things aren't too bad yet. Tomorrow is going to be super productive tho so I'm really looking forward to it, genuinely.
So here are some tidbit updates:

Being a girl is hard.
College is hard, but the right friends can get you through anything.
The church is true.
Moving is a harder than I ever comprehended.

It's way too easy to gain weight, and way too hard to lose it.
It's impossible to not be selfish at college.
Losing your tweezers is a bigger deal than expected.
Everybody struggles with the same things, just in different ways.

Living in the dorms aka The Ghetto never ceases to be an adventure. A week ago a few of our friends woke up to a drug bust going on 3 doors down from us. It basically went down from 1 to 3 in the morning, and of course my roommate and I slept through the whole thing. We sleep with a fan on so we don't even hear each other.
It's finals week so it's quiet hours 24/7 and your first warning is a 50 dollar fine. Of course the girls next door to us are so loud that they were already fined once and apparently haven't learned their lesson because they were yelling and laughing raucously only a few hours later. Honestly? Please.
The floor I live on (4th) consists mostly of Dominicans. We decided they don't sleep. Ever. At any random hour of the night, if we go out into the hall we can see them running back and forth to and from each other's rooms and can hear their laughter and their music playing... 24/7. It will be interesting to see if any of that changes this week since it's finals week.
I finally got my computer fixed and it's almost back to the way I like it. Finally!

ah, that first finals week. it'll be over soon enough. oh, and i'm glad someone introduced you to pizza plus breadsticks. can we say amazing? i was unfortunate enough to miss out on those til after i was married. nuts i know. what about fredricos? you been there yet? also good food.

Finals is ugly. I remember thinking how WRONG it was when I would tell myself things like, "If I can just make it to Thursday, then I can sneak a few hours of sleep in between my Roman History final and my Stats final. Oh, that is unless my Civil War paper isn't finished by then..."
But I'm still here to talk about it!
Man! $50 fine as a first warning! That's intense.
